Fluids and society

Within the framework of specific actions, LadHyX is engaged in themes at the frontier of fluid mechanics that interact with society in general: arts and sciences, econophysics and sports physics.

The Arts and Sciences action aims to create a dialogue between the arts, sciences and society, particularly around themes such as the environment and global warming, through collaboration between artists, scientists and designers.

Econophysics, for its part, seeks to use physical models of fluid mechanics and complex systems in the field of economics and financial market dynamics in particular, using massive databases and automatic learning.

Finally, in sports physics, the viewpoint of physics and mechanic is used to understand the physical and even biophysical mechanisms at work in sports practices, and for some of them, in order to improve performance, in gliding or flying for example.
